The "Making Strides for Breast Cancer" walk was held in Westchester County and throughout the country today. A fellow Zumba instructor and breast cancer survivor, Amy Olin, invited me and some of her Zumba friends to join her in the warm up for the walk. We woke up EXTREMELY EARLY. Myself and a few others were still getting over colds and bronchitis but made it to the site at 8am with our pink Z-gear and smiles.

I've done many of these walks in the past but this one was special. For starters, I was sharing it with a survivor and secondly, I was actually going to interact with everyone in the crowd.

And interact, we did!
