Health Challenge - week 1 complete

Hello there . . . So, how's it going?

Have you continued with the challenge or did I lose you? I haven't heard from anyone lately . . . feeling lonely.

I am drinking water EVERY morning and so was my boyfriend before he left on vacation. I've also worked out everyday this week but I won't over the weekend because I'll be at the jersey shore. My goal is to lay around and do nothing for two days. I deserve it. ;-)

Veggies and fruits are showing up all over my plates. This morning, I was actually excited to eat some strawberries and blueberries early in the morning.

I realized that if I get everything done early, it makes it easier to continue making healthy choices throughout the rest of the day. The longer I hold it off, the harder it is to meet any of the goals.

P.S. For anyone who is following my C25K progress. Today I complete week 3, which consisted of a 5 minute warm-up, 90 second run, 90 second walk, 3 minute run, 3 minute walk, cool down and stretch.

The 3-minute runs are difficult BUT I am determined to run my first 5k. Oh, and the pains are less frequent now -- especially since I added a nice long stretch at the end of my workout.
