Most Productive Rainy Sunday (in awhile)

Here, in New York, the rain has been coming down hard. I had plans to possibly hit up a local park with the boyfriend and enjoy some sun, ice cream, and drinks but instead, we were "forced" to stay indoors. I am so happy we did!

While I was drinking my early morning glass of water, I decided to turn on Netflix and watch Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead! You should too. This motivated me to dust off our juicer and make fresh apple juice.

I then went into my arsenal of juice recipes and the join the reboot website and wrote down the ingredients for juices I will make this week.

I drove myself to Fairway in Pelham and purchased the ingredients for juices and healthy meals; along with the week's essentials.

Came back home, showed off this week's awesome ingredients - much to my boyfriend's content, and cooked dinner.

Ahi Tuna and this salad. We devoured it. First time EVER consuming Kale and it was delicious.

Looking forward to making a fresh juice in the morning. Here are some of the juice recipes I'll be enjoying during the week:

Juice 1:

  • 6 leaves Kale
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • 4 stalks Celery
  • 2 apples
  • 1" Ginger root
Juice 2:
  • 1/4 large pineapple
  • 1 cup Blackberries
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 Banana
  • 1/2 Pear
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 30 mint leaves
Juice 3:
  • 1 Green Apple
  • 3 handfuls Spinach
  • 6-8 Kale leaves
  • 4 carrots
  • 1 piece ginger
I think I'll be having juice #2 early in the morning tomorrow. The mint leaves smell delicious and i can't wait to consume this juice!
