I signed up for my first 5k!!!!!!! (yes, its worth of ALL those exclamation points). I knew I was going to do this run for quite awhile now but I didn't have the courage to let everyone know . . . JUST IN CASE I wasn't ready.
I know its crazy, but I feel confident that I will complete the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. I ran 3 miles today and I had to stop once ONLY to pee. lol. How do people deal with the nagging bladder?
I felt like I could have continued running. I do get bored quickly and so its's necessary to have the playlist in full gear or else I start thinking about how bad I want to do something else. I ran to Adele's "21" album. I KNOW Sunday will be a great success: I have my sole sisters joining me, there might be some Zumba action going on before the run, and I'll definitely be taking part in a Zumba demo in White Plains after the run.
My Sunday is jam-packed with physical activity and I am looking forward to it. I am staying away from my kickboxing class prior to the run because I was literally unable to walk without discomfort for three days. Other than staying away from super strenuous activity, I have no clue what to do before a run. I need some advice people.
Is there anything I need to do on Saturday to prepare myself to kick a$$?
