It's Friday and a perfect day to count my blessings. Last week, on Friday, I received really bad underemployment news. I am so thankful for the many friends who reached out to me and have connected me to the 50 or so jobs I've applied to. Hey, it's that kind of economy. Also, thankful for picking up another Zumba gig that will bring in some income. So stop by and take class with me. You'll get an amazing workout and I'll get your support. I do not disappoint! Many little blessings happened this week amongst the tears and confusion, oh yea, and let's not forget the snow that ruined Halloween.
Here are some of this week's little blessings:
. . . a note the day after it all went down. He knew I was planning getting my oil changed in the morning but I managed to sleep 'til really late. Stress perhaps.
. . . Going out for some much-needed drinks with a great, supportive girlfriend. My favorite mojitos ever are from Salud on Bleecker Street near the Seaport. To die for! It's a small and personal restaurant. There was a birthday party going on so we got to hear live salsa music. It felt like a house party. If you are planning on going, YOU MUST INVITE ME. Those are the rules.
