Exciting News. I'm a Personal Trainer.

You can officially call me a Personal Trainer! I had my first official session with a client and I am excited to report that it went well. I think what I enjoy most is explaining alternative ways to work a muscle and providing building blocks towards strength and toning. I think I'm going to try to use this blog to highlight easy to perform moves that can make you stronger and better prepared to take on life's daily challenges.

For example:

If you don't feel strong enough or controlled enough to perform a floor push up, start with a wall push up.

The "wall" push up helps you become more aware of your arm positioning and body alignment. It also helps you build your confidence. Once you get more comfortable, move towards the knee variety.

I showed my client this move on Saturday, and she could really feel it in her arms and was able to better understand what her body should do the day she hits the floor to perform a push up. I am so happy. Can't wait for our second session. lol
