The boyfriend and I went to Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus in La Romana, DR and I highly recommend it. We met people from all over the world. There were families there but it wasn't overwhelming . . . lots of couples too. We had a great time.
The rooms were clean and spacious.
The grounds were well-kept.
The restaurants were great.
Everyday I ate clean, healthy food . . .
Too bad that was cancelled out by all the yummy rum drinks at the pool and beach bar.
The entertainment staff was so much fun.
And the best part . . . Everyday I participated in the aqua aerobics class (no picture). They had a class in the beach and a class in the pool. I enjoyed the beach class more because the instructor was sillier and more people participated. It was also very difficult with the waves as an added element. There was also a dance class after the aerobics class at the beach that I was more than happy to participate in as well.
Overall, OPERATION VACATION was awesome and I can't wait to go back.
P.S Working out in the water was beneficial to my joints and I had NO KNEE PAIN whatsoever after two days. I still do not have any pain on my knees or my ankles. I'm thinking of taking this up as a once a week thing, swimming or aqua aerobics.
Have any of you taken an aqua aerobics class in Westchester? Where do you go? Do you recommend it?
