My yoga journey in pictures

I feel like the worst blogger in the history of blogs. Where the hell have I been? It's been exactly one month since I last posted anything. Well, I can tell you. I've been running Beachbody challenge groups, I am almost done with my second round of T25, I am still practicing yoga and every freaking day, I am so amazed on how much my eating habits have changed. I need to blog about that one separately but seriously, the man and I go to the supermarket now and we are seriously ONLY shopping at the perimeter. I never thought the day would come when I finally figured it out. I am sure there is more to figure out but I learned one thing. As much as my taste buds love cheese, my body doesn't! Most dairy products actually. In college we had a saying, "cheese is bad for your butt." I forgot about that saying but now I believe it and actually, its more like "cheese is bad for your GI tract." ewww…TMI I know. I promise to get back to telling you all types of things about fitness, but for now I will leave you with these past two weeks of yoga poses in pictures! My favorite part of participating in yoga challenges is the progress. I can do things like touch the floor in a forward bend and sit in lotus pose which are things I couldn't do before. My body now craves it. I never thought that being flexible was a form of strength but it is. And that's what I am learning life is like as well. If you aren't willing to bend, to maneuver through life's crazy twists and turns then how could you find the strength in yourself to take chances and jump in. I think I've always been fearful of taking chances. I have always walked the straight line and rarely deviated.  I have followed the rules and the paths laid out for me without question….but what happens if I take a leap of faith into something new, something different…. hmm, something to think about.
