Chic finds at Thrift Stores

A good friend of mine and fellow blogger, wrote about her love of thrift stores on her blog - Adventures of a New York Gypsy and I thought I'd share it with you all. I've never been to a thrift store. Like many stores with lots of items, thrift stores intimidate me. I am overwhelmed even before I walk in. But I trust Lisa and I've seen some of her fabulous thrift store finds . . . so I am thinking that the New York Gypsy and Fun. Fit. Chic. will be making a trip to the thrift stores of Westchester County real soon. In the meantime, check out some of the items she found on her most recent thrift store shopping experience:

So, are you into thrift store shopping? What are your favorite thrift stores and what items have you purchased?

I Heart Kandee Johnson's Youtube Channel

For those of you that don't know, I love cutting up clothing and although I don't wear it often, I do love makeup. When I was in college, and always had a party to go to, I'd go into my wardrobe, cut up a shirt and/or jeans and make a brand new outfit. (A girl has to improvise when broke).

Then, I joined the Zumba craze and Zumba people love to cut up and redesign shirts. YAY!  Anytime I need inspiration, I visit Kandee Johnson's YouTube channel. She is so creative and cute!  I love how she breaks everything down to very easy to understand steps and I've had some real successes with her help.
